What date will Wind Slayer 2 Reopen?

This discussion is only based on America, I'm aware these dates also comply with other countries.

According to the 2012 Calender for North and South America, Fall begins down in South America on Tuesday, March 20th ( which has already begun little over a month ago ) However, the beginning of Fall here in North America begins on Saturday, September 22nd. Really!? September 22nd? Surely we aren't going to have to wait THAT long for the game to reopen, that's ( with the inclusion of this month ) a 6 month downing period for Wind Slayer 2, are players going to wait 5 months to start playing Wind Slayer 2? I mean surely by then everyone would have migrated and settled into a different game that's just WAY to long to fix presistant bugs that the GMs claimed is the reasoning behind this downing. Hopefully they're going to reset the reopening date because if all they can tell us is "This Fall" and the first day of Fall begins 5 months from now then I dunno what to do.

At this moment I've not played any new MMO games as I've been playing mainly Disgaea 3 for the PSV but cmon, my games aren't going to last 5 months. This makes me even sadder than what I first read the temp shutdown announcement.

Well, IG headquarters are in NA, despite them supporting BR sided games/online cash currency.

If you noticed how long it took them to raise the level cap from 51 to 67, as well as work on Serien, it shows how long it takes them to release large masses of game data.
They roughly took 1 month to get that update in, now lets try to calculate. They're most likely releasing Underwater, Zanda, Burning Hill, etc. Which might take them 2 months. They need to update Pvp, including more maps and 10v10 player capability. 1 month. Bug and glitches, 0.5 month. Translation and testing, 0.5 months. Skills, items, and cash items. 1 month. That's 5 months. Can't really think of what they need 6 months for, even though we've gotten through half a month already.

Bottom line is, if it takes them till fall, most of us will forget and play/do something else. Heck, I'd be in school around the time it swings back.
ps. I heard that IG was "slacking" off at one point. Either that was another game I was playing or it was a weird dream.
pps. I'll be playing Pokemon B/W 2 by the time fall comes ;v;

I don't think they'll literally catch us up to KWS, I would say they'll just add CTJ, Underwater and Cursed river, and Ghost ranger. If Hamelin does give us all you believe they would it would be the first time a NA server has ever been within half a year to the Korean version. But hell if I have to wait 6 months just gimme the content periodically, who wants to be thrown everything at once?

I also think that it would be better off with continuous updates (Hope they get the stuff listed updated, or that will be as lame as the patch before the closing patch. Seriously? Two weeks after a cap rise and all they did was put in cash items). I just lose so much motivation when seeing everything released compared to leveling a few levels to hit a current level cap...
They probably called for a "shut down" because they didn't want to spend money on a game that would've stayed dead for a whole summer. Oddly, they still haven't taken down the Ws2 servers...wat.

i hope when its back they won't dump a bunch of new stuff on us. I wanna take time to enjoy the game before the new stuff comes

Well, I'd like new things. It'd be a bum if they spent that long and didn't release anything at all.
But still, I want to have more motivation on playing when it's back though.

i want them to release new things too, but what i meant was i dont want them to release super op features that kws has.
i tried kws, people there are really op. mostly the ones who have money. i see people with like no skills whatso ever. all they do in pvp is have op equips + know how to jumpstrong and all the basics + use ultimate skills to win... that thing ruins pvp

You have to get used to this, every MMORPG gets like this eventually, the best thing you can do is just invest really early in the games development and wait for these changes.
