What do you think qualifies someone to be a Pioneer of their game?
I think it's a serious question because in every game they're always really popular players that everyone looks up to, but unfortunately it's usually because he/she has the best gear or has the highest win % or is the highest level in the game.
So my question to you guys is, what do you think qualifies a player to be a game Pioneer?
I don't usually "look up to" or "think highly of" a specific player unless they.
1.Make in game videos that they post on youtube ( but doesn't have to be a whole lot ) maybe once a week or month is fine.
2. Is highly active in the game's economy educating players on what to invest in, how they could make money, and generally not waste their money or being scammed by hustlers. Because every game is filled with hussies.
3. Is very active on their games forums weather big nor small to show potential players or anyone that just wants to "Check out the game" and see that the community is fun loving and lively. Which would only increase their chances of playing the game.
4. Host their own events every now and then ( if they are cashiers, they don't have to be but many players are gold diggers so cashiers are preferred ) Could be something as small as a IN GAME pvp tournament for a rare gear they don't really need, lots of in game money if they're a wealthy player, or a small valued online cash item. In WS2s case would probably be a 1day exp boost or random hair.
Just a few things I believe would make a player a game Pioneer.

A person ( in a way ) that starts trends.
For example, in FlyFF every skill has its preset dmg, ( stats dont influence this ) when a player discovered this, this sparked a whole new builld where players had 0 Str, 0 Int, 0 Dex, but 100% vitality a full tank and power build. Overtime every advanced party needed at least 1 full vitality tanker. The person who started this is the pioneer of the full tank build.
