hey guys lets brain storm on how to get a private sever working or just chat lets start a teamspeak maybe play an mmorpg together and make a guild called wind slayer : )

I've not touched a private server in my life, I wouldn't know where to begin. As for playing MMOs, I've gotten that out of my system. That being said if any Wind Slayer whatevers popped up within the near future sure I'd play it.

I'm honestly surprised there isn't one running yet. Not really IT savy with network protocols so that's beyond me. However, I wouldn't host a private server in the states due to copyright issues. I'm guessing ignited still has the rights to it.

At any rate any "WS2 or 1" game produced would have to be strictly fan based which I would imagine a solo game. Any mass multi-player game would need funds to upkeep any server which requires donations which could be seen as generating revenue from something that is not yours.
